For making the dough, add the plain flour in a mixing bowl. Then, add water, milk, eggs and a little bit oil in a separate dish and mix all together. Gradually add the mixture to the plain flour and knead it until it forms a dough. Cover the dough with a cling wrap and leave it to rest for at least 30 minutes. |

Meanwhile, you need to prepare the beef filling. Add the roughly-cut onions and garlic to your food processor along with some water. Grind until it turns into a smooth paste. Now, take a bowl of minced beef and season it with salt and pepper to taste. Add in the garlic-onion paste and mix everything together until it is well combined. |

Once done, place the dumplings over the flour until frying to prevent them from sticking. Now, add the vegetable stock or the beef stock in a deep pot. Add some bay leaves and peppercorns. Once the stock reaches its boiling point, drop in the dumplings in the middle and cook it for about 5-8 minutes until the dumplings start to float. Remove the dumplings from the stock and add butter if you want. Mix it well and then serve hot with the sour cream. |
