Ingredients

250g Minced mutton
1 Tbsp. Clarified butter
2 Tbsps. Cooking oil
1 Tbsp. Fennel seeds
1 Cup Chopped onion
1 Tbsp. Ginger Garlic Paste
1 Tbsp. Red Chilli Powder
1/4 Tbsp. Cumin Powder
1 Tbsp. Coriander powder
1/2 Cup Tomato Puree
1 Cup Water
1/2 Tbsp. Garam Masala
Salt to Taste
1/2 Cup Cooked green peas
1/2 Tbsp. Lemon Juice
1 Tbsp. Coconut paste
Chopped Coriander Leaves

To make the spicy and tasty mutton keema, heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan. Once the oil is hot, add 1 tablespoon of clarified butter (ghee) and melt it on a low flame.

Next, add 1 tablespoon of fennel seeds with 1 cup of sliced onions and sauté it well. To this, add 1 tablespoon of ginger-garlic paste and cook until it loses its raw aroma and taste. After that, add ¼ tablespoon of turmeric powder, 1 tablespoon of red chilli powder, 1 tablespoon of coriander powder, ¼ tablespoon of cumin powder and mix the spices well.

Next, add ½ a cup of tomato puree to the spices and stir it well. Cook until the oil starts separating. Now, add in 250 grams of minced mutton and mix it with the spices thoroughly. Add ½ a cup of water and cook it covered for about 20 minutes on medium heat.

Remove the lid after 20 minutes and add ½ tablespoon of garam masala and salt to taste. Stir it again. Then, add ½ a cup of cooked green peas and squeeze in the juice of half a lemon. Then, add in 1 tablespoon of coconut paste and stir it again.

Next, add some chopped coriander leaves to add to its flavour and taste. Mix well and then cook for another 2-3 minutes until cooked.

Your delicious and mouth-watering mutton keema is ready to serve!
