Steps

1
Done

In a jar, mix 40 grams of water with 60 grams of milk. Add in 2 grams of dry yeast and mix it well. Next, take 150 grams of bread flour in a mixing bowl and add in 8 grams of sugar and 2 grams of salt. Whisk the dry ingredients well.

2
Done

Further, add the water and milk mixture to the flour and combine it well to form a soft dough.

3
Done

Put the dough on the table and knead it for about 10 minutes. Put in some butter and again knead for another 5 minutes. Make it round and set aside for 30-40 minutes in a warm place until its size gets doubled (primary fermentation).

4
Done

After 30-40 minutes, put the dough on a flat surface and spread it flat. Cut the dough into 8 pieces and roll each into a ball. Cover them with a damp cloth and leave them for 15 minutes.

5
Done

Lightly deflate the dough occasionally and then again roll into small balls. Set aside the bread in a warm place for 30-40 minutes for second fermentation.

6
Done

Meanwhile, preheat the oven to 250⁰ C and dust the rolls with bread flour using a tea strainer. Then, slash a cut on its top and put 2 grams of butter on each. When the oven is hot enough, mist the rolls gently. Turn down the temperature to 230⁰ C and bake the bread rolls for about 13 minutes. Place the bread rolls on a wire rack to keep it cool and crispy.
